Add Shop the Look to Your Homepage

For Online 2.0 themes

You can add Shop The Look on the homepage or anywhere on your online store.

Follow these steps to integrate the "Shop the Look" widget into your Shopify OS 1.0 homepage:

1. Navigate to Theme Settings:

   • Go to Shopify > Online Store > Themes > Edit your theme where you want to add the section.

   

2. Create a New Section:

   • Expand the Section folder and create a new section.

   

3. Name and File Extension:

   • Name the section shopthelook and set the file extension to .liquid. Once created, copy and paste the following code and press save.

   

4. Open Shopify Customizer:

   • Open Shopify's customizer to add the section to your theme's pages.

   

5. Add the Section:

   • Click on "Add section" and search for "Shop the Look".

   

6. Enter Look ID:

   • The section requires a 'Look ID'. Go to Shopify > Apps > Shop The Look to copy the Look ID and paste it in the required field.

   

7. Check the Look Video:

   • Refer to the Look video for guidance on obtaining the Look ID and adding it to the section.
